I am a scholar of Islam and Arabic who helps Christians learn about Islam while remaining grounded in their own faith.
A lot of Christians and Muslims simply do not know how to engage one another. Polemics may win applause from believers, but they rarely produce true knowledge of individuals, communities, or lived faith.
I have spent the last decade traveling, teaching, and engaging with Muslims so that Christians can become informed and speak with precision. A full view of the complexity of Islamic traditions helps us move forward despite deep differences.
